WASTEWATER

Many facilities in the Chicago metropolitan area are regulated by the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) or other municipal sewage districts/publically owned treatment works (POTWs). Additionally, other facilities may need wastewater monitoring pursuant to an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) permit, storm water permit, or a National Pollution Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit.

For these diverse industrial and commercial owners and operators, Admiral has the hands-on experience to undertake any type of wastewater sampling and the experience to efficiently and cost-effectively complete the necessary reporting paperwork to address your regulatory requirements.

Although wastewater sampling and the subsequent paperwork is a relatively simple effort for those that do it on a regular basis – like Admiral personnel – the value that Admiral’s professionals provides its clients is that we are always on the lookout for ways to reduce or streamline your wastewater compliance costs and to successfully assist you if any regulatory issues arise.

The Benefits of Consistent Sampling Personnel
Key to our consistency in meeting our clients’ wastewater sampling needs is our ability to nearly always provide the same sampling technician for your facility. Having the same field sampling personnel at your facility means that the work is done quickly and efficiently – saving you money – and that we become very familiar and knowledgeable with your specific processes and unique discharges. This knowledge can be invaluable when opportunities are discovered to reduce or eliminate your compliance costs or to help resolve regulatory agency actions.

Class K Operators
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) requires that industrial wastewater pretreatment systems be operated under the direct field supervision of a licensed Class K Operator.

As part of its diverse expertise, Admiral delivers onsite training for the successful completion of the Class K Operator exam. Unique to our presentation is our ability to customize the training to fit your exact needs relative to your specific facility, processes, and pretreatment system(s). Additionally, with our extensive experience and “lessons-learned” to draw upon, our knowledge, suggestions, and insights often prove invaluable.
